Stretching Your Budget with Paid User Interviews - userinterviews.com review

To make our family budget less stressful, I've offset costs with gift cards I earned by participating in user research studies. The particular website that I use is userinterviews.com.

In this economy and time of political turmoil, life can feel dark and hopeless, and doing an extra task like this helps me feel more in control. If less than an hour of my time can give my family more options with our food budget, I'm more than willing to participate.

You may notice an uptick in blog posts from me, as I'm focusing on growing my content related to stress relief and "life hacking." Being more resourceful in how i earn money and how I save money is an important goal of mine for Q4. Research studies is one I imagine most people wouldn't think about, so I wanted to get this post up quickly. The following post is based on my own experience using the User Interviews platform. I am not compensated for writing this post, but if you join using my link we both get $10 after you do your first survey. Here is my referral link if you are ready to sign up and don't need any more information.

Is userinterviews.com legit?

Have you ever searched if something is legit or not? It's such a funny phrase, but I promise, the User Interviews website is legit and not a scam. User Interviews is safe to use, and I've taken part in multiple surveys from them.

How do you get picked for User Interviews surveys?

Each survey has different preliminary questions so the researchers can determine if you are the target demograph they need. Some pre-qualifying surveys take only a minute to complete, and others can take up to three minutes.

I get accepted maybe one out of every twenty I apply too, so the key to being chosen is to sign in at least once a week to apply to new studies.

How does User Interviews pay participants? Does User Interviews pay in cash?

You receive money in the form of gift cards after the survey is completed and reviewed (about two weeks after). I usually pick Amazon, Target, or Walmart cards since that is where I get most of my items and food, but they also have gas cards, Publix, and even Visa gift cards. Check your portal once you sign in to see the options.

How much does userinterviews.com pay?

The most I've seen is $200, for very specific research interviews. Most are between $15-$50. The more expensive research surveys involve using special apps that record activities and eye movements, or being recorded in an online interview setting. Most surveys are online, but there are some available in person.

Get the most money from User Interviews by joining with my referral link so that you get an extra $10 after completing your first survey.

Is it worth it to participate in paid research studies worth it?

It depends on your goals. I don't get chosen enough to rely on these gift cards, but it's great as an occasional benefit.

I love giving my opinion on things and getting paid for it. It takes only a few minutes each week to see what new studies are available, and since I like having multiple income streams, this is just a small piece of the pie. If you go into this knowing that User Interviews is a small bonus way to cover expenses occasionally, then it may be worth it for you.

If you are curious about trying it out, join userinterviews.com and you'll get an extra $10 when you finish your first survey.

Let me know if there is a question I have not answered and I can update this review.
